As we continue into the fall this is a quick reminder that cold and flu season will be upon us in the weeks and months ahead. As it gets colder, practices and games for some teams may move indoors.  We want to communicate with all of our families to share that we support what you feel is best for you, your child and your health.

Please know that we may limit, or eliminate altogether, spectators at our indoor facilities as we attempt to comply with various local and state orders.  We encourage you to speak with a club director or your coach about your individual comfort level as things potentially shift from outdoor activity to indoor. It is important that we work together to keep families, players and coaches healthy. Our goal is to continue to help prevent the spread of viruses and colds in the club and we again ask that if your child is sick or has a fever to please keep your child at home and to consult with your medical provider as soon as possible.

If a child attending a Coppermine program has a vulnerable adult at home, we ask that you consider the risk of the child bringing COVID-19 or other viruses home to the vulnerable adult as cold and flu season this year may be even more challenging than normal. We also ask that parents and guardians speak with their children about continued proper health hygiene habits and social distancing whenever possible.  We greatly appreciate the continued awareness as coaches, players and families’ health and wellness is of utmost importance. We have included the link to the CDC website and their suggested guidance for youth sports, young athletes and families.

Thank you for being a valued member of the Coppermine family.
