MLS GO Coppermine is a COED recreational youth soccer league developed by Major League Soccer (MLS) providing a fun, inclusive, and skill-building experience for players of all levels.


Designed for children between the ages of 4 and 12, the program emphasizes: enjoyment, teamwork, and development over competitive pressure, making it ideal for beginners or those looking to play casually.


MLS GO Coppermine offers age-appropriate training based on a combination of MLS GO and Coppermine Soccer Club curriculum, in a structured yet flexible environment.


Benefits include improved physical fitness, enhanced social skills, and the opportunity to develop soccer fundamentals in a supportive setting, all while fostering a love for the game without the intensity of elite travel leagues.


MLS GO Coppermine is hosted at our top-tier soccer complex - CopperPlex.

Play Fund - Scholarships

We're excited to announce that MLS GO is currently accepting applications for our new grant initiative, MLS GO PLAY FUND, which ensures every child—regardless of their financial circumstances—has the opportunity to play the game they love.


Individual grants are designed to help cover the costs associated with participating in MLS GO. If you'd like to see if you qualify, just visit the RCX Sports Foundation website for more details on eligibility criteria and the application process.

Full Instructions https://www.msysa.org/travel-player-transfer-release/Players that want to transfer to a team in another club, or simply be released from their current club, must meet the following conditions: Download and Print the Travel Player Release/Transfer Form and fill out the Player Information and Parent Certification. Signatures MUST be hand-written. Player Association ID (found on player card) Obtain this from the team manager Club Name: Coppermine Soccer Club Team Name: Must match exactly what is the player's card and can be obtained from the team manager. New Team Information must be obtained from the new club. Once fully complete scan the completed form as a .PDF and email it to the MSYSA Registration Specialist. Once reviewed by MSYSA, the NEW TEAM Club Administrator (NOT the coach or manager) will initiate the transfer request in GotSport in their Club’s Admin User Account and follow these steps precisely.   • What is MLS GO Coppermine?

    MLS GO Coppermine is a fun and welcoming recreational soccer program for boys and girls ages 4-12, perfect for discovering the joy of the soccer!  The program is open to all players regardless of skill and experience level. 


  • Who can join MLS GO Coppermine?

    The program is open to boys and girls ages 4-12. All skill levels are welcome. Whether your child is new to the sport or looking to further develop their abilities, MLS GO Coppemine is a perfect starting point.

  • Do you offer scholarships?

    Yes. MLS Go has a scholarship fund you can apply for a scholarship.  Please allow at least 2 weeks to process your application.

  • When does the season begin and end?

    • Season Begins:- 9/5/25
    • Season Ends - 10/24/25

  • When does registration open and close?

    Registration:

    • Opens on 6/1/25
    • Closes on  8/1/25

  • Where are sessions held?

    All sessions are held at Copperplex.

  • How many sessions are included?

    There are 8 weekly sessions included.

  • How long are the sessions?

    • Training Sessions - 45 minutes

  • How long are the games?

    • Ages 4-6 - 40 minutes (4 10 minute quarters)
    • Ages 7-8 - 40 minutes (4 10 minute quarters)
    • Ages 9-12 - 50 minutes (2 30 minute halves))

  • What is the game format?

    • All games are intramural/coed
    • No scores are kept
    • No rankings
    • Just all around fun

  • What days are the training and games?

    Training and game schedules will be released once registration is complete.  


    Different teams will have different training and game days,

  • How often do players train and compete?

    One training session per week on a  weekday and one game on the Friday. Schedules will be released after registration closes and the season begins. 

  • Are uniforms included?

    Yes. You will receive:

    • MLS GO reversible jersey featuring MLS club logos and colors
    •  MLS GO shorts 
    • MLS GO socks 

  • Can I choose what MLS uniform I order?

    No. Each player selects the correct size and then whatever team you are assigned to you will receive the kit associated with that team.


    Uniform kits are associated with the teams not the player. 

  • What equipment do I need to play?

    Required:

    • Shinguards

    Optional

    • Soccer cleats (highly recommended)

  • Who coaches the team?

    We use expereinced, passionate, and  trained Coppermine coaches that are background verfified who are focused on early soccer development.
